SANJUKTA DAS
Known for her graceful and subtle movements, Sanjukta Das has passed the Alankar in Odissi from Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai in 1998 and Masters in Music (Odissi Vocal) from the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. Senior teacher-cum-dancer of Orissa Dance Academy, she has staged many shows in and outside the State. She has traveled to various places like Dehradun, Vizag, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore and New Delhi. As soloist, she has performed for Doordarshan and the ‘Pankaj Utsav’. Sponsored to Europe by ICCR, she has also participated in the ‘Nrutyotsav 1996’ organized by Late Sanjukta Panigrahi. Sanjukta has received many awards, including the ones received from ’Sampark’ and during ‘Vedavyas Dance Festival’.

RAMESH CHANDRA JENA
Besides being a senior dancer, Ramesh is also a senior faculty member of Orissa Dance Academy. A recipient of Senior National Scholarship from the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, he has received intensive training from Orissa Dance Academy. A visiting lecturer at Auroville, Pondichery and Center for World Music, USA, Ramesh is considered an ‘A’ grade artiste by the Deptt. of Culture, Orissa and empanelled artiste of ICCR. Excluding a combination of masculine charm and stylized form, he captivates the audience by his supple body movements. Extensively traveled to USA, South Africa, France and other European countries, China and Hong Kong. Recently he has also traveled abroad to participate in the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand and perform in Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar to give cultural performances in connection with the Asian Car Rally. He also excels in stage designing and lighting.

BIJAYA KUMAR DASH
Received initial training at Orissa Dance Academy, Bijay took his Masters in Music (Odissi Mardala) from Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Bhubaneswar. A Nritya Visharad from Prachin Kala Kendra as well as Alankar from Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandala, Mumbai, He is known for his perfection in chauka and bhangi postures. A senior teacher of the Academy, he has staged performances in places like New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Faridabad, Guwahati, Nagpur and Jaipur. He has also traveled abroad to participate in the 20th Spring Friendship Art Festival, Pyongyang, North Korea, 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand and perform in major cities of USA. He has also been honoured with the Senior National Scholarship from the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.

MADHUSMITA MOHANTY
A dancer characterized by supple and graceful body movements, Madhusmita’s expressions and footwork synchronize to create an aesthecally gratifying experience. Initiated into dance at the tender age of six, she became an accomplished dancer under Orissa Dance Academy, and is now a senior teacher and Joint Secretary of the institution. She has performed at the Orissa Society of Americas Convention, USA and has also been to Thailand, China, Malaysia, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Brussels England and other European countries. Along with her husband Shri Ramesh Chandra Jena, she received great laurels during her tour to Paris.

Madhusmita is a recipient of Senior National Scholarship, the Sringarmani title from Soor Sringar Samsad, Mumbai , Deba Prasad Dash Memorial Fellowship 1997-98 and an empanelled artiste of ICCR. She is also the recipient of the Bismillah Khan Award in the year 2008.

SRI YUDHISTIR NAYAK
Belonging to a rare breed of Odissi dancers, Yudhisthir Nayak is trained in both Odissi Vocal and Odissi Mardal. Initiated to Gotipua dance at the tender age of seven, subsequently he took up Odissi dance under the tutelage of Guru Gangadhar Pradhan at Orissa Dance Academy. A master of varied nuances of Odissi dance, he is a recipient of Senior National Scholarship and has carved a niche for himself as a resident teacher at Center for World Music, Sandiego. As a soloist, he has performed in the prestigious ‘Dhauli Mahotsav’ and ‘Udayaraga’ organized by ODA. A rare combination of being a good performer, a soloist and an excellent teacher, Yudhisthir has extensively performed in India and abroad. He has also traveled abroad to participate in the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand and perform in major cities of USA.
   

PABITRA KUMAR PRADHAN
Pabitra Kumar Pradhan started receiving his training at Orissa Dance Academy at the age of fifteen. Bestowed with a captivating stage presence, Pabitra has featured in major festivals and has performed widely at places like Raipur, New Delhi, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Guwahati Tanjavur, Pondicherry and Bangalore. Being a talented performer & excellent instructor he is also bestowed with the unique talent of choreographic new items keeping intact the essence of Odissi. He has been awarded the Senior national Scholarship from the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. As a soloist, he has performed in the prestigious ‘Dhauli Mahotsav’ and ‘Nritya Pratibha’ organized by Sangeet Natak Akademi. Sponsored to the 20th spring Friendship Art Festival, Pyongyang, North Korea, the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand, Festival of "Days of India in Germany" by ICCR, he has also performed in the major cities of USA & UK. He has also performed in 2nd and 3rd International Odissi festival, Glasgow Festival and Shanghai Trade fair.He is the recipient of “Sanjukta Pratibha Samman” & auditioned artiste of Doordarshan.
   
   

ROJALIN MOHAPATRA
Rojalin is learning Odissi since her childhood in Orissa Dance Academy under the mentorship of Guru Gangadhar Pradhan. Her sincerity and hard work have paid off in the form of Sringarmani title from the Soor Sringar Samsad, Mumbai. Rojalin is also an artiste of Doordarshan and has staged many performances inside the country and abroad like the Sultanate of Oman & 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand. Some of her major performances have been at ‘Poorva Festival’, ‘Odissi Sandhya’, ‘Pallavotsav’ and ‘Odissi Nrityotsav’.

BIJAYA KUMAR SAHOO
A unique blend of dancer and choreographer, Bijay stands out for his intricate footwork. A Senior National Scholarship holder from the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, he has completed his Bachelors in Music from the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. Starting his career as Gotipua dancer, he later switched over to Odissi under the supervision of Guru Gangadhar Pradhan. His perseverance and passion scaled many new heights for him, some of his major dance performances being at 'Konark Dance Festival', Puri beach Festival', ' Swarnotsav,' 'Dhauli Mahotsav' - all in Orissa, 'Orissa Day' in Bhopal, ' Sapta Sajya' in Kollkata, 'Odissi Sandhya' in New Delhi and 'Kalidasa Samaroh,Ujjain. He has been abroad to perform at the major festivals organized in USA and is a dance instructor to Chitralekha Dance Academy, Canada. He has also performed at the Shanghai Trade fair.
   

JANHABI BEHERA
An energetic and enthusiastic dancer, Janhabi is a student-cum-performer of Orissa Dance Academy. A recipient of many awards and accolades, prominent among them being the Sringarmani title from Soor Sringar Samsad, Mumbai, she has also received the Senior National Scholarship from Ministry of HRD, govt. of India. With rich and varied experience of having performed across the length and breadth of the country, she has been to Japan as a soloist, to North Korea for the 20th Spring Friendship Art Festival and performed at the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand, Festival of "Days of India in Germany" and also performed in Cambodia,Vietnam and Myanmar to give cultural performances in connection with the Asian Car Rally sponsored by ICCR.. She has worked as the visiting faculty for Center For world music , San Diego and has also performed at the Shanghai Trade fair.

   

SRIDUTTA BHOL
Trained and groomed under Orissa Dance Academy, Sridutta is one of the most versatile dancers of her generation. She holds the Sringarmani title from Soor Sringar Sansad, Mumbai. Apart from sustaining a brilliant career, Sridutta endeavors to master each and every technique of Odissi. At a young age, she has given performances in Ujjain, Raipur, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Sridutta has performed in many cities of USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Croatia & Slovakia. She has also performed in 2nd and 3rd International Odissi festival, Glasgow Festival, Shanghai Trade Fair, 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand, and also performed in Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar to give cultural performances in connection with the Asian Car Rally sponsored by ICCR. and OSA Convention in USA.

   

   
   
 
 
   

PANKAJ KUMAR PRADHAN
Pankaj started his dance career at Chandrasekhar Kala Mandir. His formal dance training began at Orissa Dance Academy under the able guidance of senior teachers. After finishing his Master degree in Music at Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, he is one of the member of the Junior Performing unit of Orissa Dance Academy. He has performed widely inside the country and abroad. Recently he has participated in the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand, Festival of "Days of India in Germany" sponsored by ICCR.
 

BISWAJIT DAS
Biswajit started Odissi dance training at the Orissa Dance Academy (ODA), Bhubaneswar at the age of 9 years.He has been working relentlessly under the watchful eyes of Guru Smt. Aruna Mohanty. Biswajit continues to be groomed at ODA as a versatile solo artist and as an energetic member of the repertory group.

He has been awarded the Senior National Scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. He has been received National Youth award, given by Govt. of India. He has performed widely inside the country and abroad like in USA; China, Canada & Mauritius.

 
   

PRAVAT KUMAR SWAIN
Pravat Kumar Swain received his initial training in Odissi dance at Orissa Dance Academy. Now he is continuing his M.Phil in Dance at the Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar. He has been awarded the Senior National Scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. He has received National Youth award given by Govt. of India. He has performed widely inside the country and abroad like Canada and other European countries. Recently he has participated in the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand, Festival of "Days of India in Germany" and Europalia International Art Festival, Brussels sponsored by ICCR.
   

ARUPA GAYATRI PANDA
Arupa is a rising star in the field of Odissi dance. Having trained at ODA for the past nine years under the guidance of Madhusmita Mohanty, Arupa began performing professionally at a young age, joining the prestigious Nrityagram troup in Bangalore for their U.S. tour. Arupa has received a number of awards and honors including the prestigious Sanjukta Panigrahi Scholarship in 2002 and the Senior National Scholarship from Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Arupa is continuing her training as a group and solo artist, joining senior dancers at ODA in prestigious performances all over the globe. Recently she has participated in the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand, Festival of "Days of India in Germany" and also performed in Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar to give cultural performances in connection with the Asian Car Rally and Europalia International Art Festival, Brussels sponsored by ICCR.
   

PRASHANT KUMAR BEHERA
Initiated into the art of Gotipua dance,Prashant later joined Orissa Dance Academy where he received formal training in Odissi dance. Recipient of Senior National Scholarship from Deptt. of HRD, . He is presently doing his Master degree in Dance at the Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar. He has performed widely inside the country and abroad. Recently he has participated and performed in Cambodia,Vietnam and Myanmar to give cultural performances in connection with the Asian Car Rally sponsored by ICCR.

   

BIJAN KUMAR PALAI
Bijan is a young, upcoming and talented Odissi dancers of present generation. He was trained as a gotipua dancer for eight years at Chandrasekhar Gotipua Kalasanshada in Dimirisena, Puri. He received his formal training in Odissi at Orissa Dance Academy, Bhubaneswar under the direct supervision of Guru Gangadhar Pradhan and Guru Aruna Mohanty. Currently working as student-performer-teacher at ODA, he has performed widely inside the country and abroad such as Indo-Japan Friendship year in 2007, performing in major metropolitan centers like Osaka ,Tokyo & South East Asia.

Recently he has participated in the festival of "Days of India in Germany" and also performed in Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar to give cultural performances in connection with the Asian Car Rally along with the Europalia International Art Festival, Brussels sponsored by ICCR.He is a recipient of Junior & Senior Scholarship from Government of India.

   

ARUN KUMAR PRADHAN
Arun is a young promising dancer who has created a niche for himself in the genre of Odissi dance in India. Following his initial training in Gotipua dance from Konark Natya Mandap, he has been groomed as a Odissi dancer at Orissa Dance Academy by the guidance of veteran teachers with the direct supervision of Guru Aruna Mohanty. He has established himself as a talented dancer who has not only performed in important stages inside the country but also different places abroad like USA, Thailand etc.

   

BALARAM BEHERA
Balaram received formal training in Odissi dance at Orissa Dance Academy under the guidance of senior gurus . He is a promising and talented artiste in the field. Over the years he has given numerous performances inside the country and abroad. He has been awarded the Senior National Scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Govt. of India. He has performed widely inside the country and abroad. Recently he has participated in the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand.

   

ARABINDA SAHOO
Arabinda began his career as a gotipua dancer for eight years at Konark Natya Mandap, Konark, Puri under Guru Birabara Sahoo and Guru Gangadhar Pradhan. Received formal training in Odissi at Orissa Dance Academy (ODA), Bhubaneswar from senior teachers under the direct supervision Guru Aruna Mohanty. Currently working as student-performer-teacher at ODA. Recently he has participated in the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand.

   

RAJESH KUMAR PALAI
Rajesh is a young and promising Odissi dancers of present generation. He was trained as a gotipua dancer at Chandrasekhar Gotipua Kalasanshada in Dimirisena, Puri. CHITRASENA SWAIN
Was initiated the art of Gotipua Dance from the tender age of 7 years at Dasabhuja Odissi Gotipua Nrutya parisad Raghurajpur, Puri under the direct supervision of Padmasree Guru Maguni Das.Later he joined at Orissa Dance Academy and at Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Bhubaneswar and received professional training under the guidance of eminent gurus of Orissa Dance Academy.

   

RUDRA PRASAD SWAIN
Initiated into Gotipua Dance at a tender age of 5, Rudra Prasad Swain has proved himself to be a child prodigy. Later he trained himself to be a fine young Odissi dancer under the direct supervision of senior gurus of Orissa Dance Academy. Currently he is pursuing his Masters degree in Music at Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar. Recently he has participated in the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand, Festival of "Days of India in Germany", Europalia International Art Festival, Brussels sponsored by ICCR.

   

PUJA JENA
Puja Jena started learning Odissi Dance at Orissa Dance Academy from a very tender age of 4. She has been a performing artiste for the last 7 years, participating in various prestigious podiums in India and abroad. At the age of 15 she participated in the Glasgow Dance Festival as the youngest member in the group headed by Guru Gangadhar Pradhan. She is the recipient of Junior National Scholarship awarded by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. She is one of the budding talents trained under the direct supervision of Guru Smt. Aruna Mohanty and other senior teachers of Orissa Dance Academy. She is currently pursuing Bachelors in Commerce.

   

SASMITA TRIPAHY
An upcoming young dancer of ODA’s repertory unit, Sasmita Tripathy has been well acknowledged for her performance. She has been receiving training in Odissi dance at Orissa Dance Academy with the direct supervision of Guru Smt. Aruna Mohanty. Apart from sustaining a bright academic career, she has developed herself in mastering the finer nuances of the classical art form. She has performed in many major cities and festivals in India.

   

MITALI PRIYA GIRI
Mitali Priya Giri is a superbly talented young dancers waiting on the wings to burst forth on the international Odissi scenario. A proficient artiste from a very tender age, she has received extensive training from experienced gurus.

She has participated in many state and national dance festivals and competitions and has been awarded for her talent. She is the recipient of Junior Naveen Kalakar Award 2008 by Devadasi Nrutya mandir and has secured 2nd position in 14th & 16th state level youth festival, organized by Dept. of Sports and Youth Services Govt. of Odisha.

Anita Babu is a senior dancer of Orissa Dance Academy. She has traveled widely across the length and breadth of the country for major festivals. She has also traveled to abroad like USA, U.K and other European countries. As a teacher she has made a mark by creating ?Odissi Natya Shala? in New Delhi. As an empanelled artiste of ICCR, she has represented India in cultural delegation.
   

LIPSA DASH
Lipsa Dash was initiated into Odissi dance at the age of five at Orissa Dance Academy. She is the recipient of Senior National Scholarship from Human Resource Development Dept., Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. She has performed in the major festivals and programmes in the country and abroad. She was also awarded the Sringarmani Award from Sur Sringar Sansad. Sponsored to the 20th spring Friendship Art Festival, Pyongyang, North Korea by ICCR, she has also performed in the major cities of USA & Canada.

   

Y. ASHA KUMARI
Y. Asha Kumari was nurtured and groomed under the guidance of eminent teachers at Orissa Dance Academy. She is the recipient of Senior National Scholarship from Human Resource Devolopment Dept., Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. She has also awarded the ?Sringarmani? title from the Soor Sringar Sansad, Mumbai. She has widely performed inside the country and in USA, Canada and other countries. Sponsored to the 20th spring Friendship Art Festival, Pyongyang, North Korea by ICCR, he has also performed in the major cities of USA.

   
LEEMA BHOL
Leema distinguishes herself from other dancers by her perfect postures and intricate footwork. Having given performances across the length and breadth of the country as a soloist, she has attended the ?gunghroo Festival? and also performed in the Sangeet Natak Akademi programmes. Leema had been to the 20th Spring Friendship Art Festival, Pyongyang, North Korea, as also USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Croatia & Slovakia and other Euopean countries. She holds the National from Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India
   
DINABANDHU DALAI
Dinabandhu joined Orissa Dance Academy at an early age where he started receiving formal training in Odissi dance. He has also completed his Masters degree in Music from Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. A recipient of Junior scholarship from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training, Deptt. Of Culture, Govt. of India. He has also performed extensively in different parts of the country.
   
SUDARSHAN SAHOO
Sudarshan started his dance career at Orissa Dance Academy under the able guidance of senior teachers. He is one of the member of the junior performing unit of Orissa Dance Academy. He has performed at many prestigeous in and outside the states of Orissa.
