SANJUKTA DAS
Known for her graceful and subtle movements, Sanjukta Das has passed the Alankar in Odissi from Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai in 1998 and Masters in Music (Odissi Vocal) from the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. Senior teacher-cum-dancer of Orissa Dance Academy, she has staged many shows in and outside the State.
She has traveled to various places like Dehradun, Vizag, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore and New Delhi. As soloist, she has performed for Doordarshan and the ‘Pankaj Utsav’. Sponsored to Europe by ICCR, she has also participated in the ‘Nrutyotsav 1996’ organized by Late Sanjukta Panigrahi. Sanjukta has received many awards, including the ones received from ’Sampark’ and during ‘Vedavyas Dance Festival’.

RAMESH CHANDRA JENA Besides being a senior dancer, Ramesh is also a senior faculty member of Orissa Dance Academy. A recipient of Senior National Scholarship from the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, he has received intensive training from Orissa Dance Academy. A visiting lecturer at Auroville, Pondichery and Center for World Music, USA, Ramesh is considered an ‘A’ grade artiste by the Deptt. of Culture, Orissa and empanelled artiste of ICCR. Excluding a combination of masculine charm and stylized form, he captivates the audience by his supple body movements. Extensively traveled to USA, South Africa, France and other European countries, China and Hong Kong. Recently he has also traveled abroad to participate in the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand and perform in Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar to give cultural performances in connection with the Asian Car Rally. He also excels in stage designing and lighting.

BIJAYA KUMAR DASH Received initial training at Orissa Dance Academy, Bijay took his Masters in Music (Odissi Mardala) from Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Bhubaneswar. A Nritya Visharad from Prachin Kala Kendra as well as Alankar from Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandala, Mumbai, He is known for his perfection in chauka and bhangi postures. A senior teacher of the Academy, he has staged performances in places like New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Faridabad, Guwahati, Nagpur and Jaipur. He has also traveled abroad to participate in the 20th Spring Friendship Art Festival, Pyongyang, North Korea, 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand and perform in major cities of USA. He has also been honoured with the Senior National Scholarship from the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.

MADHUSMITA MOHANTY
A dancer characterized by supple and graceful body movements, Madhusmita’s expressions and footwork synchronize to create an aesthecally gratifying experience. Initiated into dance at the tender age of six, she became an accomplished dancer under
Orissa Dance Academy, and is now a senior teacher and Joint Secretary of the institution. She has performed at the Orissa Society of Americas Convention, USA and has also been to Thailand,
China, Malaysia, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Brussels England and other European countries. Along with her husband Shri Ramesh Chandra Jena, she received great laurels during her tour to Paris.
Madhusmita is a recipient of Senior National Scholarship, the Sringarmani title from Soor Sringar Samsad, Mumbai , Deba Prasad Dash Memorial Fellowship 1997-98 and an empanelled
artiste of ICCR. She is also the recipient of the Bismillah Khan Award in the year 2008.

Belonging to a rare breed of Odissi dancers, Yudhisthir Nayak is trained in both Odissi Vocal and Odissi Mardal. Initiated to Gotipua dance at the tender age of seven,

‘Dhauli Mahotsav’ and ‘Udayaraga’ organized by ODA. A rare combination of being a good performer, a soloist and an excellent teacher, Yudhisthir has extensively performed in India and abroad. ROJALIN MOHAPATRA Rojalin is learning Odissi since her childhood in Orissa Dance Academy under the mentorship of Guru Gangadhar Pradhan. Her sincerity and hard work have paid off in the form of Sringarmani title from the Soor Sringar Samsad, Mumbai. Rojalin is also an artiste of Doordarshan and has staged many performances inside the country and abroad like the Sultanate of Oman & 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand. Some of her major performances have been at ‘Poorva Festival’, ‘Odissi Sandhya’, ‘Pallavotsav’ and ‘Odissi Nrityotsav’.

BIJAYA KUMAR SAHOO
A unique blend of dancer and choreographer, Bijay stands out for his intricate footwork. A Senior National Scholarship holder from the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, he has completed his Bachelors in Music from the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. Starting his career as Gotipua dancer, he later switched over to Odissi under the supervision of Guru Gangadhar Pradhan. His perseverance and passion scaled many new heights for him, some of his major dance performances being at 'Konark Dance Festival', Puri beach Festival', ' Swarnotsav,' 'Dhauli Mahotsav' - all in Orissa, 'Orissa Day' in Bhopal, ' Sapta Sajya' in Kollkata, 'Odissi Sandhya' in New Delhi and 'Kalidasa Samaroh,Ujjain. He has been abroad to perform at the major festivals organized in USA and is a dance instructor to Chitralekha Dance Academy, Canada. He has also performed at the Shanghai Trade fair. |

An energetic and enthusiastic dancer, Janhabi is a student-cum-performer of Orissa Dance Academy. A recipient of many awards and accolades, prominent among them being the Sringarmani title from Soor Sringar Samsad, Mumbai, she has also received the Senior National Scholarship from Ministry of HRD, govt. of India. With rich and varied experience of having performed across the length and breadth of the country, she has been to Japan as a soloist, to North Korea for the 20th Spring Friendship Art Festival and performed at the 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand, Festival of "Days of India in Germany" and also performed in Cambodia,Vietnam and Myanmar to give cultural performances in connection with the Asian Car Rally sponsored by ICCR.. She has worked as the visiting faculty for Center For world music , San Diego and has also performed at the Shanghai Trade fair. |

Trained and groomed under Orissa Dance Academy, Sridutta is one of the most versatile dancers of her generation. She holds the Sringarmani title from Soor Sringar Sansad, Mumbai. Apart from sustaining a brilliant career, Sridutta endeavors to master each and every technique of Odissi. At a young age, she has given performances in Ujjain, Raipur, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Sridutta has performed in many cities of USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Croatia & Slovakia. She has also performed in 2nd and 3rd International Odissi festival, Glasgow Festival, Shanghai Trade Fair, 14th International Festival of Dance & Music, Thailand, and also performed in Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar to give cultural performances in connection with the Asian Car Rally sponsored by ICCR.

BISWAJIT DAS
Biswajit started Odissi dance training at the Orissa Dance Academy (ODA), Bhubaneswar at the age of 9 years.He has been working relentlessly under the watchful eyes of Guru Smt. Aruna Mohanty. Biswajit continues to be groomed at ODA as a versatile solo artist and as an energetic member of the repertory group.
He has been awarded the Senior National Scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. He has been received National Youth award, given by Govt. of India. He has performed widely inside the country and abroad like in USA; China, Canada & Mauritius.

Arupa is a rising star in the field of Odissi dance. Having trained at ODA for the past nine years under the guidance of Madhusmita Mohanty, Arupa began performing professionally at a young age, joining the prestigious Nrityagram troup in Bangalore for their U.S. tour. Arupa has received a number of awards and honors including the prestigious Sanjukta Panigrahi Scholarship in 2002 and the Senior National Scholarship from Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Arupa is continuing her training as a group and solo artist, joining senior dancers at ODA in prestigious performances all over the globe.
